Many people will tell you that marketing your website costs a lot of money. On the other hand, there are those that tell you one should never spend any money on Internet advertising at all.

Those of you that have read 1,001 Killer Internet Marketing Tactics know of which school I am a fan:

The one that works!  And which "one" that is depends highly on your situation.

That is, there is some truth to both schools of thought. At Aesop we tend to focus on things that will have little or no initial investment, but there are times when we do spend money on advertising, of course.
